These are the finalists of the first NL Startup Competition competing for 10,000 euros
From over a hundred applications, sixteen startups have been selected to advance to the finals of the NL Startup Competition. They will pitch on May 29th before a jury of investors, experts, and entrepreneurs, competing for 10,000 euros.
NL Startup Competition Finalists
The first NL Startup Competition is organized by MT/Sprout, Upstream, and Erasmus Enterprise, in collaboration with the Port of Rotterdam, V.O. Patents & Trademarks, Damen, Helloprint, Volkerwessels, Econsulate, Rabobank, Erasmus University, and the municipality of Rotterdam. The competition offers startups the opportunity to present their innovations and contribute to positive change in these crucial areas. NL Startup Competition focuses on four main categories: Circular/Sustainable, Digital, Energy Transition, and Social. Four young companies have been selected for the finals in each category:

Prize money NL Startup Competition
These sixteen teams will pitch on May 29th during the Upstream Festival before a jury of investors, experts, and entrepreneurs. The winners stand a chance to win 10,000 euros, a patent search worth 2,500 euros, an hour of media training, three months of co-working space, a ticket to the Top 250 Bootcamp of the Entrepreneurship World Cup, and a lap in an electric Porsche at Circuit Zandvoort. In addition to the cash prize, the NL Startup Competition provides access to a network of experts and connections with potential investors and mentors.
